So what is “SEO”? SEO is the acronym for Search Engine Optimization. SEO is sending the signals to Google and all other search engines that your content is most relevant to the term searched. So what are the other problems with Organic SEO? Another place Organic SEO loses a huge part of their market share is in Google Maps. Google Maps is MORE Than 50% of all Google searches, and organic website listings DO NOT get displayed in Google Maps.

Google My Business! Google created Google My Business so that Local Businesses do not have to compete with national, million-dollar websites. In the example above, look at the listings highlighted in the red box I added so you can easily see where Google My Business results are positioned at the top of page #1 on Google Search, “above the fold”.

With Google My Business, your results are positioned at the very top of the search results, ABOVE the organic search results. Positioning your practice of business in the top 3 results of Google My Business will get you the most traffic to your website and the most sales!

So by using and optimizing your local business listing to the top 3 listings of Google My Business, you will get 400% more results because consumers do not have to scroll down and your listing is displayed in Google Maps, which is more than half of all Google searches.

Less Competition

Because most local businesses and practices are focusing on outdated Organic SEO, there is less competition in Google My Business. This gives the “early implementers” a huge competitive advantage!

Organic SEO can be implemented successfully to get 2 listings on page #1 of Google Search results, but only AFTER your Google My Business page is optimized and ranking highly.
